Boxelder trees were felled while helping Tom’s sister in Minnesota clear a garage building site of trees
and shrubs. Tom was also fortunate to find a wonderful boxelder tree at a local landfill destined for the burn pile.

Certain pieces of art include a Turquoise inlay of pulverized Pikes Peak Granite gleaned from behind Tom and Nancy's cabin, while other rustic pieces have natural cracks secured with a specialized "stitching" technique.
