Silver Maple was gleaned from the backyard of a Denver residence. Front Range Woodturners sent an email to all members regarding the need to remove the trees due to wind damage.

Certain pieces of art include a Turquoise inlay of pulverized Pikes Peak Granite gleaned from behind Tom and Nancy's cabin, while other rustic pieces have natural cracks secured with a specialized "stitching" technique.
