Walnut was given to Tom by Tom’s nieces father-in-law who had numerous trees in the path of new
highway construction in Kansas.
Certain pieces of art include a Turquoise inlay of pulverized Pikes Peak Granite gleaned from behind Tom and Nancy's cabin, while other rustic pieces have natural cracks secured with a specialized "stitching" technique.
